How did you follow the schematic to create the Blink sketch?
I started creating my sketch based on the SIK Guide, which is a guide for Arduinos. The SIK Guide helped me a bit with understanding where the components were supposed to be placed.
What purpose does a Bread Board serve?
The Bread Board helps conduct electricity to the connected pieces.
What are the problems with setting up a circuit?
Some problems that I had with setting up a circuit was putting the pieces in the right places. This was difficult because the pieces, especially the resistors, were very small.
What are the problems you faced with programming a circuit?
At first, it was easy to program a circuit that made the one LED blink because we had instructions from the SIK Guide. However, when we had to make multiple LEDs blink, we faced problems with the programming.
How can you incorporate interactive components into your circuit?
We could look in the SIK Guide to get ideas, and incorporate different materials. The components could do various things. For instance, they can control the glow of the LEDs.
What are the challenges of working with interactive components?
The most challenging part for me was understanding how the interactive components worked. Although the SIK Guide provided a brief information about the interactive components, I was not fully sure how I was supposed to program them.
Arduino Prime Focus Question
Using an Arduino to invent or create makes it possible to control the flow of electricity. In what way can you imagine designing, engineering or inventing a product using an Arduino?
*What would you invent?
*Why would it be useful?
*Who would want one of your inventions?
*How would you use the Arduino in the design?
If I were to invent a product using Arduino, I would create something that could be used as a TV screen for animation. The product will have thousands of Arduinos together, and the LEDs will be programmed so that it will create an animation. Although this might not be a necessity for living, it could be a new kind of entertainment for some. People who are interested in technology might want this because this could be a new kind of “TV” in the future utilizing Arduinos and LEDs. Arduinos could be used to control the flow of electricity or the blinking of the LEDs for them to clearly form an animation.
